Group Cycling Holidays with Freewheel Holidays
Did you know that it is possible to book group cycling holidays with us? We have devised a simple way for groups of friends, extended family or social cycling clubs to turn a self-guided cycling holiday into a group cycling tour.
All of our cycle tours are self-guided which means that you follow the route notes and navigation apps to follow the route or itinerary. This makes it easy to complete a cycle tour without a guide and you’ll be able to ride confidently in new surroundings. All hotels are booked in advance and everyone stays in the same place with single supplements or twin rooms on request available in all locations.
Importantly, you can pay individually for your share of the deposit and final balance using individual online payment links. We do ask that someone acts as the main booker to help organise and liaise with us about the booking. If customers want to be added on to the booking or be removed, then all of the admin is handled by our team directly with new invoices generated for each customer.
You can pick any route on our website to ride along and in 2025, we had group bookings along the Rhine Cycle Path from Mainz to Cologne, Vienna to Budapest along the Danube and a long-distance tour from Odense to Copenhagen. Everything went smoothly and we had some great feedback overall for the 2025 season. You can also customise the tour with different durations and route variations possible.

All cycling holidays include hotels, luggage transfers, various bike hire options and route notes (digital and paper copies included) on a self-guided basis.
