Bike and Barge: North Dalmatian Coast
Purple sage, deep green pine forests and the sparkling blue waters of the Adriatic: these are the dominant colours of the coastal region in the north of Dalmatia. Discover small, hidden bays for bathing and little fishing villages. Jump into crystal clear water and relax on the sun deck. On this cycling holiday in Croatia, you pedal through sweet smelling woods and catch glimpses of the wonderful sea and the numerous small islands.
The route mostly follows paved roads which are quiet if you avoid the busy holiday season. The route does involve some steep inclines, but you can spend half or whole days on the ship and go swimming instead of cycling if you wish.
