Today, you can get to know your travel guide over a drink. When everyone is on board, it is time to raise the anchor and set sail to Supetar on Brač island. This is where you will start your first ride, cycling to Pucisca where the boat will meet you.
After breakfast, the boat will head off towards the island of Korčula. Known as the black island, because of the dense pinewoods here; from the harbour in Račišće you will cycle through Kneža and Žrnovska Banja to Korčula. Then, via Pupnat and Kneža, you head back to the boat and set off back to Korčula where you will spend tonight.
The boat will first cruise to Mljet island this morning. Almost completely covered in forest, this island is home to a large national park with free-roaming mongoose. You will cycle along a heavily forrested route, via Prožura to Saplunara. After stopping for a bite of lunch and a swim, you head back to the boat. Once you are back on board, you set sail for the Elafiti archipelago.
Consisting of 13 islands, the Elafiti archipelago is largely uninhabited. In times gone by, this was a popular summer residence for the aristocracy. Now, there are still many elegant villas to be seen here, some of which you will pass on a short tour of Šipan island by bike. You continue by boat to Dubrovnik. You will arrive around lunchtime and will have plenty of time to explore this populaar city and famous UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will sail from Dubrovnik to Prapratno, on Pelješac peninsula. When you arrive, jump on the bike and cycle to Ston and Mali Ston, two places connected by a wall which is 5.5 km long. The wall dates back to the 14th century. In Ston you can almost smell the salt from the oldest and biggest salt works on the Mediterranean. The bike tour will then lead you, via Dubrava and Žuljana, to Trstenik. After lunch on board, and a leisurely afternoon, the boat takes you to the village of Kućište.
In the morning, you will arrive at Hvar island. In the town of Hvar you get back on the bikes and enjoy a tour through fields of lavender and vineyards to Stari Grad. The boat will meet you here with a delicious lunch on board. Refreshed after lunch, you can set off on the second part of today’s bike tour. You cycle via Vrboska to Jelsa and back to Stari Grad. Here, at the oldest settlement on the island you can soak up the romantic atmosphere, and beautiful colours, as the sun sets into the sea.
You go by boat from Stari Grad to Stomorska on Šolta island, one of the smaller Dalmatian islands. It is known for its very good olive oil – which is a great souvenir to take back home. Your bike and barge holiday in Croatia ends after breakfast. Disembarkation is until 09.00 am.
