Overview

Enjoy some of Sardinia’s finest scenery

    • Good quality hotel accommodation with half board option
    • Superb coastal scenery
    • Islands of San Pietro and Sant’Antioco
    • Charming, historic town of Carloforte
    • Ride along the beautiful Costa del Sud

This short break gives you an excellent opportunity to unwind amidst beautiful Mediterranean scenery. South west Sardinia offers unspoilt coastlines with stunning beaches and quiet roads, ideal for cycling. Sardinia is a year round destination due to the favourable climate with Spring and Autumn being excellent times to visit.

Our tour starts with a transfer to the island of Sant’Antioco where you will stay for two nights in the attractive Hotel Luci del Faro near Calasetta.

The neighbouring island of San Pietro may entice you the next day. A short ferry crossing delivers you to Carloforte with its narrow streets and alleyways, and the beautiful tree-shaded main square, the focal point of the community. A short ride out of town takes you past saltpans where flamingos feed to the marvellous beach at La Bobba and the stacked rocks of Le Colonne.

On day 3 you cycle back onto the main island. A pleasant ride along country roads takes you through olive groves and vineyards to the Hotel Punta Giara near Sant’Anna Arresi.

The Costa del Sud is the highlight of day 4. The coastline is simply stunning and harmful development absent. The beach at Piscinni is an ideal stop for a rest and a swim. The Hotel Villa Madau, a stylish town centre hotel in Pula, is your destination tonight.

On day 5 your host will transfer you back to Cagliari for your flight home.
