This holiday is based at a single centre, the Blooming Hotel on the edge of Bergen in the province of Noord Holland. You are in an area of outstanding natural beauty – a dune reservation – just three miles from the coast. There are wonderful cycling trips in every direction, down to the coast, or exploring the typical Dutch countryside of waterways, windmills and old ports which are a feature of Noord Holland.
The attractive town of Alkmaar, famous for its Friday cheese market and the National Beer Museum, is just a few miles away. You may also wish to visit the Bergen Artists’ Village which has several galleries and museums to entice you.
Your hotel offers comfortable accommodation in stylish, well-appointed rooms. There is a restaurant, lounge and bar, and several pleasant outdoor terraces. Relaxation and enjoyment are the key and the hotel encourages an informal and hospitable ambience. Bicycle hire is arranged with the hotel and paid for in situ.
