Overview

See the heart of Paris from your barge ... and historical sights on a fascinating cycle route.

    •  Accommodation on comfortable, air-conditioned well-appointed canal barge – FLEUR
    • All meals included
    • Fascinating itinerary along River Seine and canals to the south of Paris
    • Cycling on quiet, minor roads
    • Flexibility – cycle with or without tour guide, or even stay on board!
    • Friendly, experienced, English speaking captain, tour guide and crew
    •  Extend your holiday with extra nights in Paris

This holiday is a great opportunity to combine so much. The attractive barge Fleur has just 10 cabins with twin beds and private facilities, and a spacious saloon, bar, and sun deck.

You cycle through the rich, historical area to the south of Paris, with beautiful forests and royal houses such as Fontainebleau, enjoying the route on the River Seine and along the Canal du Loing, passing beautiful medieval towns like Ferrières and Château-Landon.

Montargis is a delight with its many small streets and boutiques. The Fleur offers top quality, stylish accommodation and is fully air-conditioned. Breakfast and a 3 course dinner are taken on board and a packed lunch can be made up each morning. There is an English-speaking tour guide on board. He or she will lead the daily cycling rides (19-28m; 30-45km), but you can choose to stay on board any day if you wish, or cycle independently. Flexibility is the key!

Finally there is Paris! You start or end this holiday right in the centre at the Port d’Arsénal where the Fleur moors. Notre Dame and the Place de la Bastille are just up the road. Perhaps you would like to combine this holiday with one or two extra nights in the capital? Let us know and we can suggest suitable hotels.
